Delivery Instructions

Communicating to the carrier companies how and where you want your packages delivered can help improve the security of your packages. When ordering online use the 2nd address line to communicate to place the delivery in the Package Vault along with the combination lock code. Some online checkouts also have a place for delivery instructions where you should write "Place inside Package Vault; combo lock code xxxx". 

We recommend that customers setup delivery instructions with the major carriers like UPS, FedEx, and Amazon. Below you will find the instructions.

 

       UPS

  • Go to internet address: UPS My Choice
  • Sign up for a free UPS My Choice Account
  • Go to Preferences-UPS My Choice-Click Edit
  • Scroll down to third address line
  • Write "Place inside Package Vault; combination lock code xxxx"
  • Scroll down to Driver Instructions
  • Entry code: enter in Combo lock code
  • Select your location where your Package Vault is stored usually Porch
  • Click Save

       Amazon

  • Go to internet address: Amazon.com
  • Create an account if you do not have one
  • Upper right corner click on "Account and Lists"
  • Select your Account
  • Click on Your Addresses
  • Click Edit
  • Under 2nd Address Line Write "Place inside Package Vault; combination lock code xxxx"
  • If you live in an appartment where you need to use the 2nd address line. Add the Package Vault information after
  • Scroll down to "Add Delivery Instructions"
  • Write "Place inside Package Vault; combination lock code xxxx"
  • Click Save 

        FedEx

  • Go to internet address: fedex.com/apps/fdmenrollment/
  • Sign up for FedEx Delivery Manager
  • Click on My profile
  • FedEx Delivery Manager
  • Scroll to Delivery Instructions-Click Edit
  • Write "Place inside Package Vault; combination lock code xxxx"
  • Click Save
